Dymi was -after Patras-the second bigger city of the west Achaia and together with Patras and two other cities,Tritaia and Pharai, reorganised the Achaean League in 280 B.C. The Achaean League had conflicts with the Aetoleans. In the side of the Achaeans was the king Philip the 5th
