Teichos Dymaion (the Walls of Dymeans)

In the Castle of Kalogria, near Kato Achaia, in the Municipality of Larissos

Description

Mycenean Acropolis over a hill with a large fortification, 190m, from the three sides. The south one is steep. According to the mythology the Wall was built by semi-god Hercules for the protection of the Dymaia Land. A few alterations and additions happened in the medieval years.
